ACCOMMODATION

The property is in fact two connected cottages dating from the 17th century being the oldest surviving in the area. The cottage walls at the rear consist partly of the natural rock upon which the property is built.

The Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.

The Bathrooms
There is an upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower room, both with WC.

Two double, a twin and a single bedroom provide sleeping accommodation for seven people. A cot and high chair are also available

  • Full oil fired central Heating and hot water. A  weekly charge applies between September and April inclusive.

  • A telephone is provided for the convenience of guests with an honesty box.

  • A barbecue and picnic bench are provided in the secluded shade of an oak tree.

    Paths lead to the lawn and the woods beyond where passing steam trains can be observed.
